Lizz has teamed up once again with Sam Holloway of Starcast to offer bespoke 'Singing' themed parties for children...or adults for that matter!! The parties will consist of Lizz attending and teaching the 'party' one or two songs of their choice with harmony arrangements and choreography, which will then be performed at the end of the session. Each guest will receive a CD with the songs that they learned during the session. Bookings are now being taken for this summer and beyond! STARCAST students invited to audition for West End production of 'Oliver!'
Following their fantastic 'Believe' show at the beginning of April, several of the students from Starcast have now been invited to audition for the West End production of 'Oliver!' which is coming to The Mayflower, Southampton. Lizz would like to personally wish each student the very best of luck with their audition and looks forward to seeing them strut their stuff on stage when the show starts!! STARCAST students wow their audience at recent 'Believe' concert!
As well as being the owner of Vocalise, Lizz is also the Vocal Director for a local children's performance company called Starcast, run by Sam Holloway. Starcast run workshops throughout the week as after-school clubs in various schools in the Salisbury area. On April 2nd 2011 we pulled all of our students together from each school to put on a fantastic show at The Godolphin's Blackledge Theatre in Salisbury. The show was a resounding success and both the matinee and evening performance were sold out! A big well done to everyone involved!! Can't wait for the next one!
VOCALISE OWNER LIZZ BADCOCK IS EXPECTING FIRST CHILD!!
That's right, the owner of Vocalise Lizz Badcock recently announced that she and her husband Kevin are expecting their first child towards the end of this year! "We are both over the moon with the news and looking forward to the new challenges it will present!". For anyone worried about lessons during the coming months, please don't fret as Lizz will be teaching throughout the summer and once the baby arrives. For the few weeks when she won't be available, suitable cover will be provided with a trained professional so lessons can continue as normal. VOCALISE STUDENTS "THE REASON 4" (X Factor 2010) to release first single!!
Following their success from The X Factor last year, the newly named 'The Reason 4' are now preparing for the release of their first single 'Take It All'. The group are going from strength to strength having just supported Alexandra Burke in Bridgwater and with further support slots lined up for this year with Peter Andre! VOCALISE STUDENTS "THE REASON" (X Factor) ANNOUNCE FIRST ALBUM!!
If you've been watching X Factor this year you will no doubt have noticed the gorgeous man-band The Reason! The boys continue to train with Lizz at Vocalise and most of the vocal arrangements you hear them do were done by LIzz herself!
Despite being let go by Simon Cowell on last week's episode, we are thrilled to announce that they are now working on their first album. Well done boys...looking forward to the first single!
VOCALISE HOSPITAL WORKSHOP - HUGE SUCCESS!!
Last week Lizz was invited along to Salisbury District Hospital to run a Singing Workshop for the employees there. The evening was a huge success and plans are now being made to run another one across a number of weeks.

FORMER VOCALISE STUDENT TO RELEASE FIRST SINGLE!
If you haven't already heard of Effie Rose you soon will! She is an incredibly talented young lady who has been a friend and client of The Vocalise Singing Studio for a number of years now.
Spotted at a local talent show by Lemar and his Management team, Effie was signed up on the spot as one of Lemar's proteges. Having toured with him last year and already a regular on Radio 1 Xtra, she is now on the verge of releasing her first single!

EVOLUTION TO RECORD CHARITY SINGLE!
Evolution is the outstanding performance group associated with The Vocalise Singing Studio. Plans have just been announced to record a charity single with each member of the group being involved.Watch this space for updates as and when they arise...
JOSH GIBBONS OFFERED MANAGEMENT CONTRACT!
Josh Gibbons is a very talented young Singer from Salisbury and has been a client at Vocalise for a number of years now. Despite being only 14 years of age, Josh has already packed so much into his life in pursuit of his dream...to be a successful recording artist.Blessed with a supportive family, Josh has been honing his skills as a Singer over the past few years with the help of Lizz at The Vocalise Singing Studio. More recently, he was very excited to reach the Semi-finals of Open Mic UK, when one of the judges approached him personally at the end to express how much she had enjoyed his performance.
And now we are very proud to announce that Josh has been offered a Contract with Iconic Artist Management in London. He is currently in the studio laying down his tracks and working with the team up in London.
With his trademark 'rock' vocals and obvious passion for his music, Josh's star is set to rise even higher over the coming months! Well done Josh...we're very proud of you!
Nicole Morgan wins Salisbury Takedown competition to support The Blackout!!
Nicole is lead singer of the band I Met Nature and has been having vocal lessons with Lizz at Vocalise for a few years now.
The band recently showed the competition how it's done when they won Salisbury Takedown and the opportunity to support The Blackout at their forthcoming gig.
Well done Nicole...we knew you could do it!!
SUMMER WORKSHOPS - DATES ANNOUNCED!!
The Vocalise Singing Studio has teamed up with Sam Holloway to offer 2 very special all-day workshops offering top quality vocal and dance tuition for children of all ages.
Sam Holloway is a trained dancer and has run her own branch of Stagecoach for many years. The workshops are being run in August and will culminate in a final performance with full staging, lighting and PA system. Hurry and book your child's place now!
